Recently, COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Guangdong) Co.,Ltd. coordinated and arranged the foundation site before the project entering the shipyard. At the meeting, the project team focused on safety, efficiency and quality, and reported detail of the business, project plan, preparation and follow-up work after project.

This ship is the first C-type LNG ship in China and the second LNG ship repaired by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Guangdong) Co.,Ltd. It is of great significance for the shipyard to promote the transformation and upgrading of ship-repairing business. The ship has four independent C-type liquid cargo tanks for LNG storage, with a total capacity of about 30,000 cubic meters. The repair will focus on the inspection and repair of dual-fuel main engine system, liquid cargo pump system and liquid cargo control system related to LNG storage, as well as the modification of ballast water system and upgrading of living areas on board.
