On January 17, CHI (Dalian) signed a MOU for the FPSO BW Maromba Project and a Letter of Commencement for the initial phase of the project with BW Energy.

The FPSO BW Maromba project is an FPSO to be deployed by BW Energy Limited in the Maromba block of its own oil field in Brazil, and is expected to arrive at CHI (Dalian) by the end of January 2024. After the signing of the Cooperation Agreement and the Initial Commencement Letter, CHI (Dalian) will carry out the relevant works in accordance with the Initial Commencement Letter. The two parties will also dedicate in terms of deep cooperation, EPC contracts negotiation, etc., in order to put the FPSO project back into operation.
