On December 22, the 77,000 dwt multi-purpose pulp carrier "Green Santos" built by CHI (Dalian) for CBN Gold Leasing was delivered and named, and formally handed over to COSCO SHIPPING Specialized for operation. This ship is the first domestic delivery of the world's largest multi-purpose pulp carrier.

"Green Santos" has an L*B*D size of 225m*32.26m*21m and a design speed of 15 knots. The ship's cargo hold is well sealed and dry, which can fully guarantee the quality and safety of pulp cargo transportation. The ship has upgraded the special frame for collapsible vehicles and added temperature monitoring and early warning system for new energy vehicles, which can safely transport both new energy vehicles and  pulp in high quality and help domestic new energy vehicles to export in large quantities. In addition, the ship can also transport a variety of cargoes such as high-speed rail trains, wind power equipment, large machinery and super-long, super-heavy steel pipe pile structures with excellent cargo hold suitability.

The 77,000 dwt MPC is a new ship type optimized and upgraded by CHI (Dalian) on the basis of 62,000 dwt and 68,000 dwt MPC, which not only improves the loading capacity but also further improves environmental protection performance. The pollutant NOx emission of this series of vessels meets Tier III, noise meets the requirements of the Green Ecological Ship Specification, which is newly effective by CCS.
