CHI(Guangdong)
has completed a 36-day repair project for the bulk carrier "ROLAND
OLDENDORFF", meeting all operational deadlines. Key works included: Full
silicone coating application below waterline; Cargo hold repainting; Hull
structural plate replacement. The
project coincided with Chinese New Year holidays, facing dual challenges of
labor shortages and limited berth availability. Through optimized resource
allocation and process streamlining, the shipyard maintained schedule adherence
while preserving quality standards. Technological
enhancements accelerated progress: Advanced boom lift equipment deployment for
precision operations; Intelligent repair management platform enabling real-time
workforce tracking; Data-driven labor allocation system. The
vessel has now resumed service with full operational clearance, earning the
client’s recognition.
