Recently,
the Suezmax vessel departed CHI (Shanghai)'s shipyard following comprehensive
repairs. Upon arrival, the project team immediately conducted technical surveys
and formulated a repair plan covering: Overhaul of 16 cargo hatch covers, Steel
plate replacement in cargo holds 1-5, Engine room ceiling renewal, Crane boom
repairs, and Superstructure maintenance. The
yard managed multiple high-risk operations including simultaneous aerial work
and confined space tasks. Through detailed safety planning and schedule
optimization, all repairs were completed within the dry dock period despite
weather challenges. CHI(Shanghai)
prioritized technical precision throughout the project, particularly in hatch cover
repairs requiring millimeter-level structural alignment. The vessel has now
resumed commercial operations with full operational certification.
