


From June
2nd to 6th, CHI participated in the Nor-Shipping 2025 exhibition in Oslo,
Norway. The event, marking its 60th anniversary under the theme
"Future-Focused," attracted global shipping companies, equipment
manufacturers, buyers, and industry leaders. Key players from China, South
Korea, Japan, Singapore, Turkey, and Norwegian firms like Kongsberg, DNV, Yara,
as well as major manufacturers including ABB and Siemens displayed new products
and technologies. Organized
under COSCO SHIPPING Group, CHI presented a 120m² tech exhibition area themed
"Renewing Maritime Future". On June 4th, Mr. Zhang Yong, Deputy
General Manager of COSCO SHIPPING Group, attended the signing ceremony for
CHI's 17th shuttle tanker (Project N1340) with strategic client Knutsen. This
vessel—Knutsen's first Chinese-built shuttle tanker—will serve Equinor. CHI's
green transition products on display drew significant attention, including: "Six-in-One"
multi-functional environmental protection system, 16,000 TEU methanol dual-fuel
container ship, 82,500 DWT Kamsarmax bulk carrier, 211,000 DWT Newcastlemax
bulk carrier and 9,000m³ multi-purpose ethylene carrier.
