From May 1 to May 4, 2023, COSCO Shipping Heavy Industries (CHI) participated in the 53rd Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) held in Houston, USA.

With the recovery of oil prices and the offshore market, offshore turnkey contractors such as Technip Energies, MODEC, Yinson, Seatrium (merger between Keppel and Sembcorp Marine), offshore fleet operators such as Subsea 7, DEME, Van Oord, Boskalis, Huisman, ABB, Kongsberg, Thrustmuster, etc, ABB, Kongsberg, Thrustmuster and other large offshore equipment manufacturers were present.

During the exhibition, CHI representatives introduced the latest development to the guests and highlighted the capabilities in design, construction, procurement and commissioning for offshore products. JGC, a renowned Japanese contractor for modular business, visited CHI's booth.

CHI representatives visited Technip, Modec, Yinson, DEME and other companies, discussed various aspects of offshore market, including FPSO, FLNG, green energy and future cooperation between companies.
