On 6th August, CHI (Guangdong) and Tianjin Southwest Shipping Co., Ltd. held a completion and sailing ceremony for the first vessel of VLGC dual-fuel conversion project "GAS GEMINI".

The first vessel of VLGC dual-fuel conversion project of Southwest Shipping "GAS GEMINI" has an L*B*D size of 226m*36.6 m*22.0m, and a total deadweight of 54,604 tones. The conversion works include the main engine being converted into a dual-fuel main engine and the addition of a new LPG gas supply system. The total conversion cycle lasted 55 days, which is 5 days earlier than the contract cycle for the completion of the project.
