On 28 July, Mr Liang Yanfeng, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of the Party Committee of CHI, and Mr Jiang Jijiang, Director and General Manager of CHI, met with Mr Chen Bing, Chairman, President and CEO of Seaspan Canada.

Liang warmly welcomed Chen and his party, expressed his heartfelt thanks for Seaspan's strong support. He reviewed the history of cooperation between the two sides and introduced the latest news of CHI in the construction, repair and conversion of new energy vessels, such as methanol and ammonia fuel. Jiang said that CHI will use its technology to provide Seaspan with one-stop services in new energy ship construction, repair and conversion.

Chen introduced Seaspan's current business development and expressed that he value the cooperation between the two companies, fully acknowledged CHIs pioneering advantages in new energy technology, and hoped that the two companies would further expand their cooperation in this field.

Seaspan is the world's largest independent container shipowner, with its primary administrative organisation located in Hong Kong, China, and its primary operational organisation in Vancouver, Canada. The company owns about 200 ships (including newbuilding orders), with a capacity of 2 million TEU.
